Architectural exhibition ARCHEX at Exhibition Ground-34 Chandigarh attracts crowd


Chandigarh: The 4-day ARCHEX Expo, an architectural  exhibition of interiors, exteriors and building materials, is being held at Exhibition Ground of Sector 34. Organized by Minds Media & Management from March 11 to 14, the exhibition is showcasing around 3000 new products through more than 200 stalls. Well-known companies from India and abroad are participating in the expo.

Inder Dhingra, Vice President – ​​Sales, Minds Media & Management, said, “This exhibition will prove to be very useful for those who are set to build their dream home and want to be aware of the latest trends and products. Leading entrepreneurs of the tricity and eminent architects from across the country are participating in the exhibition and reflecting on the possibilities of architecture in Chandigarh."

Products and categories being showcased at the exhibition include decorative lighting, bath, sanitary, tiles, safety, security, home, automation, kitchen, furniture, doors, window, elevators, electrical, wires, cable, water management, roofing, hardware, building materials, glass, plumbing, pipes, fittings, solar systems, landscape, garden, flooring, etc. On the concluding day, prizes will be given to the innovative stalls of best performing companies.

Three Punjabi Traditional songs sung by Dr Pooja unveiled

  Chandigarh :  A renowned Punjabi singer Dr. Pooja released  three of her Punjabi traditional songs “Sehraa, Lakh Lakh Waariyan and Kaavan” during a press meet held at Chandigarh Press Club. The songs' posters were released by renowned Punjabi and Bollywood actress, Savita Bhatti who was also the chief guest at the event. “Initially singing was just my hobby, but with the passage of time it became an important part of my life. To pursue my passion, I started learning classical vocal,” said Dr Pooja.  "I am trying to express my love for Punjabi culture and also to contribute to its expansion through my newly released traditional Punjabi songs," added Dr Pooja.
