Students from various schools debate global issues at Model UN Conference

  Chandigarh : Three days of extensive debating on global issues by the brightest young minds came to an end with the official closing of The John’s Model United Nations Conference, 2022. The three-day conference was officially declared open by Mr. Patrick HĂ©bert, Consul General of Canada in Chandigarh . The conference was packed with action at all times as not only did it facilitate committee sessions, but there were also insightful workshops and sessions conducted by The University of Windsor, Silver Fern Education Consultants, and CLAT Possible. Students from some of the best schools from across the country representing different nations as delegates passionately contributed their thoughts on topics such as the implementation of a Draft Uniform Civil Code, ending violence against women in conflicted regions, and solving the refugee crisis resulting from the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, etc. These discussions were spread over 7 committees including United Nations Women, Lok Sabha

Kids Fashion Show of Glorify Int’l & Rhythm of Dance Academy held

Impressive grand finale held at The Wyndham Mohali

Mohali:  An impressive month-long summer camp organized for Tricity kids has concluded at The Wyndham, Mohali under the supervision of Yadvinder Singh, chief coach, and Director Consultant Starbiz India. Nearly 50 children of different age groups participated in the camp.  “There was great enthusiasm among kids in the month-long summer camp, the grand finale of which saw children aged between 3.5 years and 14 years giving scintillating Bhangra and Bollywood dance performances,” said Yadvinder Singh. The grand finale was graced by celebrities like Tripat Singh, a fitness icon of  India , Kiran Kaur, singer and actress, and Poonam Sood, actress. Swimming was the main attraction of the camp. Art Exhibition showcasing paintings by children concludes

Chandigarh :  A two-days art exhibition ‘Meri Pehchaan’ organized by Chhaya School of Art (CSA) concluded at  Government   Art   Gallery , Sector 10 here today. More than 300 paintings made by 100 students from the different schools of Tricity, who received training at Chhaya School of Art had displayed their art. On this occasion, Ravneet Singh Khurana, an IRS officer, and special secretary to the government of  Punjab  graced the event as Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion, Kaushik Sinha, Chairman, Co-founder, and Director of CSA, said “Art is something which comes from within. But in today's competitive world, not everyone gets a good platform to showcase their talents.
